One of the main reasons for coming up to the Orkneys was to come and get some more shots of the local Puffins. This is the first one I am posting, I am sure there will be many more over the following days.
@rosiekind Thank you Rosie, why don't you go on your own ? I do. No-one to disturb you, you can take your time and watch the crazy antics they get up to. They really can't land properly, it is very often a sort of controlled crash landing. Sometimes they just get it wrong, hit the cliff face, bounce off and go around again.
You don't have to go all the way up to the Orkney's to see them, there are some closer to you. I like the Orkney's, and there are far fewer people up there watching them. I spent several hours watching them, totally on my own.
