A Bee enjoying a meal of nectar from a Forget-Me-Not flower. The long black tube going into the centre of the flower is it's proboscis, it is like a drinking straw up which it sucks the nectar. Not sure, when it's not in use if it curls up under its head like a Butterflies does, or if it some how disappears back into it's body. Only I don't remember ever seeing a Bee with it curled up. I am going to have to pay more attention.
