Monday morning about 7:30 AM and 20 degrees outside... I don't normally do the tag challenges. LOL! I'm not that good! And, I don't like my collages but, I gave it a go! Got a little sunrise bokeh first and the shots progressed to sun-kissed tree tops, a cardinal singing way up in the bare branches with finally, folks heading up and down the road to work!
@aslessknownsu Thank you, Susan! But I think your place is lovelier! Maybe we can trade for a vacation some day! LOL! Who would want to come to Eastover, SC?
marlboro, you say you don't like your collages...why not? ...when you can do them as good as this...super choice of complimentary images :)....what editing software did you use for the collage ?
@phil_howcroft Phil, thank you! You are too kind! My word, others do so much better with collages than I do! I used Adobe's InDesign to layout my collage than exported it as a jpg file, then resaved it in Photoshop for upload.
@marlboromaam Marlboro too many TLA (three letter abbreviations) ...ppl on here use PSE to describe Photo Shop Elements (a cut down with less functionality version of Photoshop)
@phil_howcroft Ahh! Gotcha! Do you know how to create layer files? That's the way you'd create your collage. Start with a right-sized black background or whatever color you want, add a layer and place a photo, then add another layer and place photo and repeat until your finished. I would think that you could create layers in PSE. I'll have to check on that when I get a moment!
@buggus You have a great eye, Oleta! I didn't think anyone would see the sun hitting the trees on the road as small as I made that pic but, you did! Thank you for your lovely comments and the view! =)
Collages are great! They're like little chapters in a story. Your shots are lovely! I think my favorites are the one with the cardinal and the one with the sunlight coming through. Beautiful.
@meisen325 Thank you, Monica! Would not have done a collage at all if I hadn't drawn that as part of the Tag Challenge 21. Don't like my collages. LOL! But I'll be anxious to see yours!
@kericherry Thank you very much, Keri! I used Adobe InDesign to import the photos and do the layout of them, then exported the file as a jpeg, resaved in Photoshop for upload here. I believe you can do the same thing in MS Publisher. You can do it in Photoshop using the "layers" function, too. I'm sure there are other layout apps out there that are less expensive or even free maybe. Do you have Photoshop?
