The Acorn Cap Bed - Fantasies... Best viewed with the magnifier!!!
Fantasies or day dreams - whatever you call them, some say they help us keep our sanity through trying times. My imagination has kept me sane most of my life... or some might say "insane"... fantasies and daydreams... without them, I could not get lost in other worlds and that would be a terrible tragedy!
@melissapike Aww! Thank you, Melissa! I had no idea that's what I would do with that shot until I opened it up on the screen and I thought... wouldn't that make a nice tiny bed?... Thank you for your comments! Very much appreciated!
@copperheadglass LOL! I know, sometimes I just get tired of what's too real and long for a world of my own making when things get a little too unbearable. Thank you very much for your comments, Meredith!!! I appreciate every single word!!!
@cindi Really? I don't know, I just googled "images of lovers in bed" and looked for an image that I could use in the acorn cap. Thank you for your comments!
@darsphotos Yes, ma'am! They are plain old acorns from the pin oak tree in my front yard! Now that I've bursted the bubble of the fantasy here. Thank you for your comments. Much appreciated!
Oooh! I'm reminded of the movie Inception and what Eames said to Arthur, "You mustn't be afraid to dream bigger, darling." Though that was with reference to firearms. 8D Beautiful shot! I like how you've processed it to give it that dream-like feel. I like the little sparkles!
@joeboxster Wow! Thank you so very much! Some pics just need to be viewed with the magnifier whether the creator says so or not. When I finally figured out what that little symbol in between the calendar view and "Edit" was for - I started using it more often! My old eyes aren't so good anymore! LOL!
Magie I had to google to find out what your were talking about...typical man ....anyway, it wasn't until I viewed large and read a few pages on google that I realised what you are saying in your image.
Quite deep for a bloke like me who spends all his days working in IT..lol...but you are quite a romantic lady at heart ...great post processing Maggie....your fantasy series is 'fantasytastic' :)
@phil_howcroft ??? Phil, what did you have to Google? You lost me! Also, I'm very sure IT guys have fantasies of their own. LOL! Thank you for the lovely complements. The fire in my mind is always alive... I have to stoke it with fantasies once in a while to keep it active!
@phil_howcroft LOL! Phil, I just made a tiny bed out of an acorn cap and titled my shot with it. There is no other deeper meaning here that I'm aware of. =)
@phil_howcroft Wow! I've always been fascinated by the Druids and the myths surrounding the oak trees of old Brittania... Never thought about it when I took the pics and composed this one... Imagine that! Wow! Thank you for that interesting piece of information!
@markbuehl Wow! Thank you so very much, Mark! Really appreciate those comments!

@deburahiru Thank ya, ma'am!
@redrucksack Thank you so much, Eva! I think most of us do and those who don't know how to use their imaginations are just sad folks!
