Continuing with my series of light, shadow, shade and a mirror... My favorite place to relax when the weather is nice - preferably a whole lot cooler than it is now! Just one more to go in this series, then I'll give it a break.
@jaboney Thank you so much, Mike! Really appreciate your kind comments! It depends... yesterday's shot took way too long in the heat. This one, I just had to put up the hammock and find the best vantage point from the mirror for a view. I may have moved the mirror about 15 times until I was happy with the view.
The reflections in the bevel really caught my eye this time! What a lovely, relaxing spot (provided it's not 100 degrees outside)! Vicki's comment cracked me up!!
This is so pretty. I am going to have to try this mirror thing sometime! I would love to come take a nap in that hammock. Looks like a wonderful place to be!

Wow this is really an impressive series! I would love to try out that hammock right now! I found out they are not as easy to get into as they look though!
@benthomas77 Thank you, Ben! No. I know how to get in and out of a hammock! I know some other things about hammocks, too... best to keep those to myself though.

i bet this is SO relaxing!!! my husband LOOOVES hammocks! i hope to find him one of those hammocks on the stands ya know? Because where we rent, they had to cut our big gorgeous trees down :( so there is no where to tie a hammock!!!
@kdimagery Thank you for your kind comments, Kd! There is another method that involves setting posts in the ground at an angle with concrete, a couple of "o" rings and wallah - a place to hang a hammock.
@marlboromaam ooo that would work! if it were our yard to do what we wanted with, i would attempt something like that!! but since we are renting, i had better not :( LOL.
