Acorns in the water oak... by marlboromaam

Acorns in the water oak...

At least, I think it's a water oak. It matches the description of the leaves and the acorns. More info here - http://namethatplant.net/plantdetail.shtml?plant=1193

Another filler for the day and probably will be filler for another week, while I visit the hospital.

Nine years ago today - a much better view - https://365project.org/marlboromaam/365/2011-10-16

I’m not aware of turbines causing bird problems although I have not spoken to anyone who could confirm this, so really not sure.

@craftymeg Thank you, Margaret! I was just curious. I've read nightmare stories of so many birds that have been found dead at the bottom of those things. I understand they're trying censors to see if they can shut them down if a bird flies close. Not sure how that will work though.

Acorns look so cool. We don't have many over here so I hardly ever see them growing on trees. Awesome composition of them.
