A young man held a door open for me the other day. The way young people are today, it was very surprising. I thanked him and said that he was a compliment to his mother who obviously raised him the right way. He smiled, said he'd tell her and went on his way. So I'm going to take this opportunity to thank those of you who always take the time to comment on my images and even fav a few - even though you may not like it when the little blue bell shows up on your feed for just a simple thing as a thank you. I'm still going to thank you for each and every comment. My mother and father taught me to be polite, appreciative and grateful to those who make the effort and take the time to go out of their way for others. Thank you!!!
Disclaimer: This is no reflection on anyone else here. It's just me. =)
What a lovely shot. The tones, texture, reflection and pov are outstanding. You are also outstanding. I enjoy your photos as well as your comments on my photos. You are always so polite and it goes not go unnoticed.
I do agree - its the parents that do the teaching - manners and to think of others etc. He sounds such a nice person! I'm glad it was only a leaf on the car and not a squirrel - to be shot!
This is a stunning capture Mags!
What a heart warming story. One of the things are really enjoy with 365 is the connection, even if it's in a virtual world, we develop with other photographers. So thank you Mags.
Love the way you caught this. I find myself complimenting parents more often these days when I see kids who behave well. It's such a pleasure to see and these parents need to know others notice.
@milaniet Thank you, Milanie. Some of us do notice and most of the time - for me - I see the thoughtless and careless kind of behavior in young people.
@wakelys Thank you very much, Susan.
