@ludwigsdiana Thank you, Diana. I don't think it's a talent - just a learned skill maybe - if that.

@ososki Thank you, Bill. Very kind of you.

Brilliantly conceived. I’d love to see this as 4 separate dreams rather than all in the same photo. I find it hard to know where to rest my eye…just a thought

@jgpittenger Thank you, Jane. Appreciate your thoughts! I'll see what I can do.
September 13th, 2022
Would you be willing to share how you made the fog? I thought about your photo every time I woke last night
September 13th, 2022
@jgpittenger Sure! It's one of the many cloud brushes for Photoshop I downloaded about 12 years ago. I erased parts of the buildings to try to make it look like the clouds were covering parts of them, since they are in layers on top of the clouds. I use an old version of Photoshop that came with CS5. Can't update it anymore. Can't update my old iMac anymore either. Have to bite the bullet and get a new one, but hopefully can keep this one running with the old apps I cherish so much.

@jgpittenger There are literally hundreds and hundreds of brushes you can download, or there were. Some only work with the newer versions of Photoshop. Some will cost you and some are free for personal use. The brushes are different from the vector images or clipart.

@jgpittenger If you click on the tag "composite" you can probably see many of my images and the types of brushes I've used in them.

Thanks for all your tips
September 14th, 2022
So the clouds are below and the buildings on top and parts masked out?
September 14th, 2022
@jgpittenger Exactly! The cloud brush was my background layer and everything else is on top - each on its own layer. You are most welcome.
September 14th, 2022
Thanks. I think I’ll give it a try
