Red helicopters...

This tree outside the hospital and to the side of the front doors is just beautiful and full of these red seed pods. Naturally, I had to shoot it for my 365 Project. I have no idea what it is, but I am going to find out with a little googling. =)

I think that it is a type of maple tree that has those pods.

Those pods look like ones from a maple, but the leaves sure don't. Curious. Nice pov

@joysabin It's a maple and from what I've found, it's a Japanese variety. Our US maples do not have leaves like these.
