She made me curious about ragwort, so coming back from checking my mail this morning - I picked a stem and sniffed deeply. No reaction yet... Definite faint scent of daisies, but that would make sense because it's in the aster family of plants. Lovely little wild blossoms of golden yellow. I think I can safely say I'm not allergic to ragwort which relies on insects for pollination. It's the plants that rely on the wind to carry their pollen that sends me into sneezing fits - pine, oak, ragweed, etc. However, some of you may have an allergy to plants in the aster family. Hoping you don't! There are so many wildflowers in the aster family to enjoy.
