Phone shot from an upstairs window on June 8, which brought one half inch of rain. The blur on the right is rain drops on the window pane. You can the see the dried up brown grass. We badly need more rain.
Glad you received some rain. We're in the same situation. High temperatures, no rain in sight and already about 10 inches below our normal rainfall for the year and have had 14 days of over 100 degrees so far this spring. Not sure I'm looking forward to summer.
I do like your photo.
@dkellogg Makes me wonder what happened to the usual summer pattern of the bottom dropping out of the sky in the late afternoons. What's your heat index with the humidity level? That's go to be the worst! I could tolerate the higher temps without the higher humidity. We'll just pray for some relief.
I'm expecting miserable humidity tomorrow - we got 4" of rain today after a full week of it. Supposed to be in the 90's all next week. Like the blurry look here
This is the first year I can remember where the entire month of June has been consistently cool and wet. Summer has not yet arrived in the Pacific Northwest of the United States.
I do like your photo.
@kjarn Thank you, Kathy! I wish you could too. =)

@monikozi Thank you, Monica!
@mittens Thank you, Marilyn!
@haskar Thank you! We have hurricane season, but no rainy season. Wishing you better weather, Haskar!
