Keeping an eye on the trees...

We had several tornado warnings - not watches - issued yesterday. The strong storms Sally brought with her set them off. With soggy ground and strong winds, trees can easily topple over on cars, houses, fences, power lines, etc. Again, shot through the kitchen storm door, glass, screen and rain - with my LG. Two and a half more months of hurricane season to go!
I hope those tall trees are still standing tall.

@dutchothotmailcom Still standing, Esther! I had a bunch cut down that were diseased or dangerous a few years ago.

Didn't realize you were in the path Sally was taking - I can't imagine there are that many linemen in any area any more that aren't working 18 hour days! We have sent them to Louisiana from Ozark and some firefighters to the west coast. Rough times.

What a scary time of the year, hope they all pass and don't get close to you.

Hope they hang in there... I like the textured background.

@milaniet I live in the midlands of South Carolina. Two hours from the Carolina coast and two hours from the mountains of western North Carolina. Sally slowly passed through while dumping lots of rain. Yes. Lots of linemen during hurricane season. Ours will leave the area and go to other states when needed. We've had a few major ones. None as bad as Hugo in 91 and the one from 2015.

@ludwigsdiana It does get scary at times. Just have to hunker down and pray a lot!

@koalagardens Thank you!

@kvphoto Thanks, KV! That's glass, screen and rain on the door making that texture. LOL!

@marlboromaam the easy way to add texture.
