He's just about to grab that ant for a tasty snack! The patterns on his wings are mesmerizing. I was shocked he stayed there long enough for me to switch back to color mode and then my battery dies - again!
@dawrenda Thank you very much! He didn't stay around long, unlike the female who stayed near my backdoor for over a month. By the time I changed my battery - he was gone. Too bad for me.
I so love these little creatures. I remember writing a report with hand drawn pictures of them as a child and I still am fascinated by them. They are quite fierce, too!
