This may look like a lot of pine cones to fall, but in the past years around here, I've seen the trees so full of cones - you couldn't see the needles. Less food for squirrels to ravage this winter. I thought there were fewer squirrels too, but NO! There were several barking very loud at me when I was out taking pics today.
@rhoing LOL! I used to do that, too. Piled them all up in the back in one spot. Not so much anymore.
