Cedar Waxwing Eating Berries

I can't believe I caught it eating a berry. Beautiful day for a walk around the lake and photography!

Happy New Year!

These are the most beautiful birds - we rarely see them - maybe one or two days a year when passing through. Lovely capture of their softness.

@milaniet @rickster549 @ludwigsdiana @merrelyn @mzzhope @chejja thank you all so much. This picture is the last one of mine that I showed my 93 yr old mother. She passed away the next day 1/2/2020. It will remind me of her always. The southern Maryland Audubon society posted it on their Facebook page that day as well. Thank you for the nice compliments ❤️

@marylandgirl58 I am so sorry for your loss. This is a gorgeous image to remember your Mom by. Cedar Waxwings are in the Cardinal family. And it is said that when you see one, lost loved ones are near. ❤️
