Morning sun in Rotterdam. Czar Peter is standing at the harbor looking at the arrival of my vacation. It's already at the horizon (on the right, out of sight :-)
Known for visiting my hometown Zaandam he is now standing on the Westerkade in Rotterdam. Recently the statue has been moved from the Veerhaven just a couple of meters upstream. Some developers planned some new eatery over there. Poor Peter. The view is much better at the Veerhaven!
On the other side of the river Maas you can see the Montevideo tower with our tiny Hotel New York somewhere at ground level.
