Week One finished of my personal monthly challenge: to frame all my shots vertically. My goal is to develop an eye for balance when taking photos in portrait orientation.
More experimenting with super high ISO setting (6400) in a very dark room. Trying to figure out when I do and don't like the graininess. In this case, turns out not quite this much. Especially on the face because it is also blurred from motion.
Played around with a technique I read about today for dodging and burning using 10% opacity brush (white and black) painted on to an overlay layer. Pretty powerful touch up. Now it is going to take much more practice to finesse it.
