Oxburgh triptych by mave

Oxburgh triptych

Yesterday we went to Oxburgh Hall. Thanks to everyone who commented or faved the picture and put it on tp and pp. This is the triptych on the altar in the small Catholic Chapel at Oxburgh. This building still belongs to the family. The triptych was brought over from Belgium in the 16th century. Every Easter on Good Friday, the side panels are folded in to reveal the figures of four saints, before it is opened again on Easter Sunday.
Very impressive. Great capture.
