The Juggler by mbemis

The Juggler

For many years he strained and trained though quite unaware
Five balls he juggles now with no collisions
Amibition, life, a job, a wife, a secret affair
His heart says this, his head says that: decisions!
Wear no frown!
But be no clown!
No fumbling and bumbling or mumbling and grumbling
And don’t stumble
Or you’re rumbled
And they may come tumbling down!

Your poem and shot go together perfectly. Great how you got the balls in the top part of the window, and the man in the lower part. Very clever.

Love how you timed this shot so you can see the balls all in mid air! The poem goes perfectly with this capture! :)

This is a fantastic presentation in so many ways. The poem fits perfectly and is a metaphor for life, and as Rachel says, the two scenes are captured just right. I think I see the river through the windows. I'm going to tag my juggler son: @arthur2sheds

Wonderful dramatic shot, Mannie! I saw a juggler today along the side of a freeway entrance -- he was juggling knives. Pretty shocking, and I couldn't grab my camera fast enough. Your photo is beautiful and creative.

Great interpretation of the poem. He is the every man. Nice job.

@888rachel @lilminimonka @cejaanderson @kareenking @cathieg @daweenie Thank you for your comments and favs of my juggler photo. Jane, you are right that you can see the river moving by outside the window, showing that life keeps on moving, while the juggler is trapped in his life, trying to keep everything in the air.

@ubobohobo Thank you, Margaret. It is ironic that the man doing the juggling act is very different from the poem. But the photo and the poem do complement each other, don't they?
