Papillon by mbrutus

Papillon

I was supposed to go buy dinner. But there were butterflies in the neighbors garden. What's a 365er to do? "Take everybody's order," I said, as I grabbed Big Boy Camera and mounted Bird Catcher and out I went. You'd be surprised how many butterfly shots you can take in a four minute span. And some of them even came out in focus. Whaddaya know about that? Funny thing is that where I took out dinner from well describes my foray into my neighbor's garden... In'n'Out.
Priorities, priorities...Beautiful focus, the wings are so clear that one can almost feel the delicate softness. Fav.

Beautiful butterfly! Great focus & detail. We have to take opportunities as they arise, an extra 5 minute wait for dinner, not too much to ask?

exceptional photo ...fav

Beautiful capture. I love the focus.

That is brilliant made even better by the fact that you took it with the Bird Catcher. Looks like a macro

Wow now you are talking! Fabulous capture - perfect focus and great dof! That's the life of a 365er - you have to take your opportunities when you get them! Dinner? Make them wait! Lol! Fav!

Wonderful image. Worth the delay for dinner. Fave.

Great catch - poised delicately with outstretched wings! There is a dog breed called papilion - it has butterfly ears!

Butterflies definitely take priority over dinner. Fab shot, fav :)

Stunning photograph. Well captured sir, these critters just don't stay still.

Always smile when I see them called Papillon - as that was the first adult book I ever read, Henri Charrie, a French career criminal. (steve McQueen played him in the movie)

Anyway, I digress. Great photo. Fav

@pusspup Thank you. That's what I've learned from 365.

@pamknowler You are right about that. Yet they might reply, "Man cannot live by memory card alone."
June 30th, 2017
@littleconnie Great philosophy you have. WE could call it THE 365 DIET PLAN.
June 30th, 2017
@maggiemae Yes. But I think it is a rather homely breed.

@merrelyn Agree with you entirely. And thanks for the fav.

This is fabulous! I've never had In-n-Out's grilled onions, I bet they are grand. Lol.

@louannwarren I do prefer them with grilled onions. They are not my absolute favorite burgers, like some folks. But they will do in a pinch. ;-) Just out of curiosity, have you ever had In'N'Out without onions? Or with the raw onions?

@mbrutus All our California friends who moved to Texas over the years were ecstatic when In N Out arrived so we tried them. They all said the Double double was the only way to go. Honestly as it turned out our Texas burger chain called Whataburger is better (to us). So I have had the InNOut with raw onions, on the infamous Double Double. At least now when I go back I will ask for the grilled onions- on a single single if they have that. Lol.

They do. But I happen to prefer the double double. Suit my philosophy of what the burger to bun ratio should be. But I truly prefer Five Guys burgers to most burger chains. @louannwarren
