Egret Eye

On that magical day at the bird preserve, otherwise known as The Day the Birds Stood Still, I caught yet another normally flighty Snowy Egret, willing to stand still presumably till Hell freezes over. Which presumably it did, several flies and a small fish later.

@louannwarren Usually that dark water shows up as a murky brown. But on this occasion, it cooperated.
