I have never seen a turtle sunbathing in the middle of December. That will give you an idea of how warm our weather has been. Normally this guy would be burrowed deep in the mud at the bottom of the pond.

Fabulous capture, Kerry! He looks like he's thoroughly enjoying the sunshine. We've been unusually warm, too; but it's supposed to get colder later this week. The local flora and fauna are quite confused.
