Bluebird knocking at the window

Numerous times during the day I hear a knocking on my windows. I've heard that birds see their reflection and thinking it's an intruder in their territory, they attack it. That may be true but I'm pretty sure it's stalking me! It goes to many different windows including the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms! :)

I've known blue tits hurling themselves at windows and then stagger off dazedly. Tapping is much more sensible!
