I just realized that I forgot to add a little blurb, the "get to know you" part of this page. I am old enough to have grey hair, be retired, and to have a couple of grandkids. I took my first picture on an old boxy camera that used 620 film - I was a teenager (or younger?).

Canadian. Ontario. I grew up mostly in Toronto and have lived in a number of places since then. At the moment, I live in the country, on an island in Lake Ontario. I try to garden but have limited success - 10 deer spotted yesterday ... and we have 3 of the cutest bunnies that like to hang out under my car.

I am not sure if this is a place for my experiments, or just a record of my life.. or something in between. I suspect that it will turn out to be an eclectic mix of this and that! Also, I can usually remember to take a photo each day, but I am rarely on this site every day.
