@virtualbrownie @nanderson It is pretty reliable to find eagles near where they burn trash and clean fish.

Mike what a magical shot, so much going on and all working for you so well, reflections, light....

You have the same camera as i do, what lens and settings did you use for this shot?
If you dont mind me asking.

@kiwi_big_bear Shawn, this was with the kit 70-300 lens. If you click the Exif on this page you can see the lends zoom, shutter and iso settings. Generally I run the camera on P. I know I switched over to AF-C at some point. I'm not sure if this was before or after.

@mcrt thanks for the heads up on the image info, lots more learning for me to do. wow and with the kit lens, I have added asigma 150 -500mm lens for this sort of thing, I do find it hard to track things in flight at that length, and its a beast of a lens to carry around all day.

@kiwi_big_bear 500 mm with a 1.5 crop factor. Mmmm. 750 equivalent.

@mcrt you got it in one, can be a bit grainy at time, but im thinking thats me not driving it right.

@anazad511 I love this spot. It is right near where people come to clean fish.
