After I took Steve's picture downtown (see yesterday's posting), I spotted this man adjusting the sprinklers at the Lutheran church a block from my house. He didn't mind my photographing him as he did it and we chatted for a few minutes. He's been a member of the church for many years. His family currently has five generations in the congregation -- from his grandfather who is 99 to his grandchildren. I asked if he knew Frank's cousin's family who are members, and he certainly does. He sees them every Sunday.
Like the photo of Steve, I had to convert to black and white because I forgot that my get pushed challenge from Brian included that BW element and I shot it in color. Neither would win any prizes, but I count both as successes because I got up the courage to ask them if I could take their photo and put it on 365.
@brianarmoured Here's the second of my photos I took for the get pushed challenge you gave me. As you can read, I forgot about BW until I was almost ready to upload both so had to desaturate both of them.
