Another picture Tuesday evening taken from a high point at the Konza Prairie. Taken in response to the get pushed challenge given me by Jim R @jnr to take a landscape - particularly to "capture the emotion of the vast expanse of the Kansas prairies."
It was heading into dusk when I took this picture and dark by the time I came back down and got back to my car. The two young women here were strangers - among the various people out at that time -- mostly of that age -- probably KSU students. But I did run into a older friend of mine.
The view to the horizon on the prairies is magical.
