At the gate by mcsiegle

At the gate

Kali @kali66 gave me the get pushed challenge of “children.” I don’t have ones of my own and I’m usually reluctant to photograph other people’s kids. But I did snap a quick shot of this boy as he entered the gate to the old stadium. In the background the marching band was still assembled and practicing. I figure there’s no harm in posting something that only shows the boy from the back. It’s not a great shot, but it’s a start.
well done Mary, its interesting to try to figure out what is going on here, and it tells a story of day in the life of children in your neighbourhood.

I think you did well Mary. As another person who rarely has children in her life, I appreciate the reluctance to photograph strangers' children.

@kali66 Thanks, Kali. I woke up this morning and realized I had forgot to tag you last night when I posted it just before I turned out the light. But I see you found it anyway.

Hello, I've followed you a while now and am always impressed with your nature shots, dedication to theme months and this challenge.

This week how about doing a still life to copy/ inspired by a painting ( loads on Google images!)?? PS when you set my challenge, please be kind, I fly back home today and will be jet lagged for a while! Thanknyou)

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thanks. I’ll look for a still life to use as a pattern.

I just left you a challenge.
