The Woodpile by mcsiegle

The Woodpile

My get pushed challenge from April was to play with POV — shooting from different vantage points. I’m in Wisconsin at Sweetwood. This is my friends’ woodpile. I’ve taken pictures of their wood pile before in previous years. When I got in the car this morning, I looked through the rain drops on the windshield, and decided that was a different point of view than any I’d used before on this subject. So I took that shot, then got back out and photographed it from all sorts of different angles and distances. Here are six examples.
@aecasey April, I hope you like this. Earlier in my visit I took one shot from low down looking under the coffee table toward the TV and shelves. But didn’t do anything more until today.

That's amazing! The woodpile looks so very different in each shot.

I love how each different view in this collage makes it look almost like a different wood pile! You could tag this one for the MFPIAC challenge

@grammyn Thanks for the suggestion Katie! I had forgotten that challenge were still going. I’ve tagged this now.

Thank you for the monotone challenge, Mary. It is a good one!
I had my computer at the doctor's last night and today - will sit down and issue your challenge tonight ... I promise!!

Okay, Mary.
Since I know that you are part of the Welsh choir and music is such an important part of your life; my challenge to you will have a musical bent.
Your challenge is to EITHER
1 - Make a poster of an upcoming (does not have to be actual) event complete with a Welsh theme photo (tartan, your choir, or flag ...). You can use an older photo for this if need be since you cannot assemble the choir for a photo op - lol!!
or
2- A poem or piece of writing (your own or someone else's) that pertains to music laid on a musically themed photo.
Let me know if this makes sense for you.
