With the half-painted with primer cabinets that have been sitting that way for a while, I agree -- depressing. I'll post another picture when I finally get around to finishing the job. Don't hold your breath, though. Thanks for noticing the shell. It's a favorite of mine. Long ago it was one of the pretty, interesting things in my great aunt's house. She had been an army nurse, and spent time in various places, including the Philippines -- also briefly in Japan, after a devastating earthquake. She had neat stuff from all over. I loved to visit her in Salina and just look (not touch) all around on her shelves while she and my grandma and mom sat and talked. I wish the rest of the bathroom was as pretty as the shell.
