Water Drop, such as it is

Kathryn @bristolrose gave me the get pushed challenge of water drops or water crowns. I tried - I really tried. With very little luck. The "best" drop and "best" crown I have posted here in my alternates album:
I like the etsooi rejects better.

I learned that I have more patience for setting up a subject than setting up the camera and lights. Though I may try again in the future, it won't be the near future. Thanks to Kathryn for the challenge, though. It pushed me out of my comfort zone.
If you are wondering about the oily patches -- I was using my black cast iron frying pan, and even though I rinsed it several times and used clean water it kept going back to this.

I think the oily patches give it added interest. It's a pretty impressive drop too.

Fits well into the format with the black top and bottom. The whole thing looks like an eye.
