First, photograph—then, dig it up!

Jackie gave me the get pushed challenge of “all of one color.” Green is the most obvious choice, given the abundance of green vegetation; I had to post one that I took on Wednesday. I’ll be trying to dig out the trumpet vine soon. A little while back I just whacked it off so it wouldn’t cover the “surprise” lilies (or “naked ladies”) when they came up.
Oooh thats lovely

@30pics4jackiesdiamond you’re too quick for me. I didn’t even have time to tag you. Which leaves me with the observation that you are up rather early. It’s 11:30 in Kansas.

Fabulous monochromatic photo. I love the detail and the shallow DOF.

I’m starting to think @30pics4jackiesdiamond Never sleeps!

Nice capture of the leaves. The patterns of the veins and serrated edges are very clear. Glad to hear these are trumpet vine leaves rather that part of the naked ladies leaves. (See comment on the combination shot)
