The LAST of the drawer expeditions. To be honest, I was so eager to get my 30 shots accomplished that I recruited the Allosaurus and the Neanderthal Men before the Treasure Hunt in the next drawer was quite finished. I can't say they were thrilled, but one of the Neanderthal Men was interested in trying out (at a later date) the sidewalk chalk. I'll have to figure out how I can make that more accessible -- as the chalk pieces are very large and they are...not large.
I'm sure we can make it work somehow. If anyone can figure it out it will be the combined ingenuity of those two Neanderthal guys. They've come up with some amazing ideas in the past -- really clever workarounds for common everyday problems. I can't tell you how happy I am we have New Neanderthal Man as companion for Neanderthal Man. He has just blossomed in the years since NNM came. Even though the rest of the dinosaur crew considered him "one of the gang," I think he was rather lonely before, but would never have admitted that.
