This is a combination of 32 images taken on 15th November (so not technically today) but today I processed them together as I had planned. This was experimental as I had no idea how it would turn out. I tried one method that I was not happy with and am pleased with this effect. It really asked for a miracle from Photoshop to deal with all the huge RAW files and my computer crashed just at the end, but not before I managed to save the image!
Love this! What did you do in ps? I’ve done a bunch of things like this, experimenting with different layer styles and the merge image function…. The results are always so fascinating!
@randystreat Thank you for commenting Kathy. It is relatively dark at the bottom, but not too dark in my opinion. I may look darker depending on what sort of screen you are viewing on, for example on a mobile phone.
@una1965 Thank you and good luck on your Photoshop journey! Hopefully you shoot in RAW and do most of your processing in Lightroom, moving over to Photoshop for the more creative steps. Take it a little at a time and keep notes so you can refer back!
@sjoyce Thanks Steve! It is very interesting if you change the order of merging the layers or change the blending modes and/or the opacity. You get very different results. Something to discuss at the next meeting, I think!
