This beautiful mosaic is at Mottisfont. It was designed by Boris Anrep, a Russian artist, who was close to the Bloomsbury Group. It depicts the figure of an angel which bears a very strong resemblance to Mrs Russell, the owner of Mottisfont.
I have now completed my first year of 365! It is not always easy to find the inspiration each day, but somehow, I have achieved it! You are a great community and have learned such a lot from everyone and gained so many ideas. My weakest point is creativity and I am not sure that can be learned but it has given me much to think about! Thank you for all your comments, suggestions and favs over this year. Here's to my second year!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond thank you!!! I was there yesterday but today I 'dealt' with it!! Read somewhere that he was Maud's lover but thought I had better be a bit careful in case I was imagining it!! Isn't it just beautiful and a wonderful surprise to find it!
