Not sure if this picture would be better cropped. I like the space on the right but the image would have been better if Jazz had been on the other side but I was aware that she could move at any moment!
I don't mind the negative space here, though I see your point with the direction of her gaze. It's hard to worry about such things when she looks so adorable :)
I like negative space (now I know what it's called!) and I also like how she's not looking towards that space but gazing into that corner. It's got action too.
Lovely colours and I think it still works well where she is placed in the frame, perhaps crop just a small amount from the right so you would still have that lovely space but a bit more in proportion?....
I see what you mean. I like the negative space and it would have been better if she was looking into the shot rather than out of it if you follow me, but how does the saying go 'Never with children or animals' ha ha. They never look the way you want them to do they. She is so beautiful though that I am sure she will be forgiven.
@onewing 'granny' forgives her for anything!!! She was concentrating on watching boats go by, so I took my opportunity quickly! I really admire animal photographers!!
