The Chapter House

Only four copies of Magna Carta dating from 1215 have survived and Salisbury Cathedral is home to the best preserved original manuscript. I had to kneel on the ground to take this photograph - much to the amusement of the Cathedral Steward!!

Another fantastic shot at Salisbury! It seems that Chapter Houses are quite an English thing. I have not come across them in my travels and we ALWAYS stop if there is a Gothic cathedral to be seen.
