I got a new necklace today, and thought it might make a good photo. And it might, IF I knew how to photograph jewelry.
Editing consisted of Ribbet's "True Vintage" effect.
Any comments on what I could have done differently/better are welcome.
I think you should photograph it on pure black or white, or around your neck. Think how necklaces are advertised.... This version feels a bit too low on contrast, although the highlights are on the verge of overexposure. It's a beautiful necklace!

Thanks for the critique. I think I will try again tomorrow and either try and find something black to photograph on or just photograph it on myself. I need one of those necklace display dummy things. Is it too over processed in your opinion?
