This was a fun little "in camera" experiment for me. Shot on manual mode I then went to the shooting menu and chose monochrome->Toning->Cyanotype 4. I then did a small crop in Ribbet.
18-55 lens.
You seem so able to experiment with different styles (for lack of a more correct word) So glad you explain how you're trying each of these. Do like how this turned out.

Thanks so much Milanie! I am my own worst critic, but I am pretty pleased with how this turned out, and certainly pleased as this was my first attempt photographing this way. I think, if I were to photograph this way again, I would try and aim for more "muted" colors, I'm just not sure how to do that....yet.
This has some very cool moody tones - nice experiment! For picture styles, are you able to decrease saturation and contrast? That might get you the muted look you're after?
