this is a copy of capitoline wolf,the image of she-wolf suckling the divinely fathered twins romulus and remus,rome's founders.
it was a gift from the municipality of rome,in 1906,at 25 years of the coronation of king carol I and 1800 years of the conquest of dacia by the romans
