Little Balls Of Gold DSC_6414

Mirabilis jalapa, marvel of Peru, four o'clocks or what ever else they are known are pretty little flowers but once you have them growing you'll never get rid of them.
I remember photographing them ages ago and being amazed by the little golden balls of what I assume to be pollen. It wasn't until I tried to shoot them this evening for the macro challenge that I realised that they are contained within the anther and can only be seen when the anthers split open to revel their golden treasure.
They're just beautiful
