This afternoon we did a 70km round trip out to the Kakuna Breakaways. The scenery is spectacular. The hills and flat topped mesas stand out in the flat gibber plains that surround them. The colours and shapes are stunning. The plains are showing a green tinge thanks to recent rains and many wildflowers are just starting to bloom.
