Red, Red, Rose_DSC1348

I love this rose and a sprinkling of rain makes it even prettier. This was one of the first shots that I took today, and as is often the way, it was my favourite.
I went for a walk around one of our local salt lakes in search of new photos, took lots, but wasn't really happy with any of them, so a rose it is :)

@sketch2 Thank Dave, I'm sorry to say that don't even know its name. It was one of my father in laws favourites and when he passed away, we transplanted it to our garden. I love its shape and colour, as a bonus it also has a lovely fragrance.
