I found several of these when I was in the garden, collecting cape gooseberries. I love photographing them in this state.
It is magnificent Merrelyn! I love the transparent husk. You don't see them like this here. Fav

@ludwigsdiana That's interesting, Diana. There are usually several like this under the bushes. I don't know if insects eat the covering, or if it just breaks down once they fall on the ground.
