Phew, It Still Works _DSC1405

The zip on my camera bag worked loose yesterday and my camera fell out onto the footpath. It looks like my lens hood saved the day. It took the force of the impact and broke into four pieces, but everything else seems to be ok.
We had a busy day with the grandies and between taking them to see Ferdinand this morning and swimming lessons this afternoon, a quick shot of my gerberas was all I had time for.

So glad that everything is fine! I have dropped my camera with the 100-400mm lens attached. My lens was not as lucky as yours - it cost half what I paid for it to have it repaired. I know the sickening feeling you get in your stomach.
