Happy Mother's Day..._DSC0914

to all the Mum's out there.
My Mother's Day ended much better than the way it started. Graham had a nasty turn this morning and was carted off to hospital in an ambulance with a suspected heart attack. The heart tests have come back clear, so now he needs further investigation to see what caused the problem. I'm so thankful that our son decided to spend the night here last night rather than driving to his place. Matthew was able to look after his Dad while I called the ambulance and sorted out his medication.
We were home again by around 2pm. The kids and grandies have just left, so now we'll have a quiet evening together.
Apologies for my lack of comments tonight, but I think I need to put my feet up for a bit.
Wow, what a day! Big hugs to you all. I am so pleased that everything ended on a positive note. Here's hoping that they find out what caused this issue for Graham and that it does not happen again. It was fabulous that you had Matthew there supporting you both.

Rest up and take care of yourself and Graham, don't worry about commenting :) I am sure everyone understands.

@kgolab @ellida @ludwigsdiana @shannejw @mave @gijsje @haskar @koalagardens @narayani @gilbertwood @onewing @jgpittenger @happysnaps @amyk @momamo @golftragic Thank you all for your lovely messages. Graham saw his doctor today and he has and ultrasound booked for Wednesday and a CT on Thursday. Hopefully they will give us some answers. I may have developed a few more grey hairs after yesterday's fright but he seems to be fine.

@merrelyn Fingers crossed for you, neither of you need that kind of stress.

@golftragic Thanks Marnie, just to add a bit more stress to it all, the final payment for our Canada trip is due on a Monday. Our lovely travel agent contacted Travel Marvel and arranged an extension for us. It will give us time to get the test results and decide work out what to do.

@merrelyn Oh golly, nothing is ever simple is it? I shan't bore you with the details but I have a whole bunch of (non-medical) stuff 'on the boil' and every darned one of them has turned out to be more or less complicated. Grrrrrr. I do hope all is well with Graham, and that you can go on your Canada trip and enjoy it. Must confess I run hot and cold about going to Canada so will be very interested to hear what you think of the trip once you're back again. But first things first, of course.
