A Convenient Photobomber Or Two_DSC7582

The flowers on the African tulip tree were almost glowing in the morning light. The birds flew into the tree as I lined up my shot. Apparently these trees can grow up to 25 metres. Just to give some idea of the size of this tree, our room is on the 5th floor and I was looking up into the tree.
The hotel wifi has gone into go slow mode again!
Gorgeous!

@golftragic We’re at Nusa Dua in Bali, having a lovely time with our daughter SiL and granddaughters. Sadly our holiday is rapidly drawing to a close.

Gorgeous colour, they certainly are huge trees. I wonder what the bird is?

@judithdeacon I haven't been able to find out what they are Judith. They looked similar to our noisy miner birds.

Ahh, beautiful shot. Love those trees, they were called Flamboyant In Gabon, West Africa( where we lived 25 yrs ago). I always thought it was a very appropriate name... enjoy your stay in Bali 👍
