Elizabeth Quay DSCN2225

It's been a long, but enjoyable day, most of it being spent in the city. Ella, our almost 12 year old granddaughter was involved in a school dance story event at Perth Concert Hall this evening. We caught the train to the city early in the afternoon, did some shopping and got Graham's international driver's license then had dinner with Tish, Ben and Ivy before the performance.
What we hadn't realised was that half of the railway line was being closed for maintenance tonight. Half way home we had to transfer to a bus. Instead of a 35 minute train trip it took us over an hour to get home.
It's almost midnight so I'm off to bed and I'll try to catch tomorrow.
lovely scene, so much to see

@yorkshirekiwi Hopefully the weather will improve over next few weeks. We’ve got a 36 hour stopover in Auckland on our way to Vancouver.

What a wonderful day out, a real bummer about the railway maintenance. Melbourne's a nightmare in that department with massive construction stuff going on all over the place.
