For my Rainbow2017, street art project
This is a small part of a 603 square metre ceramic mural in Port Augusta. The mural, which was a community project, shows the environment from a distance. It also tells a story of the people of Port Augusta, their cultural heritage and their involvement in maintaining such a unique environment. More than 70 adult volunteers and 100 students, were involved in the creation of the tiles. The mural took eight months to complete and was unveiled on 21st December, 1998.
