I love my crayfish, so it's great that my son and husband are able to catch them in Summer. They are now called western rock lobsters, but I grew up calling them crayfish (My Dad and brother were crayfishermen.) and that's what they'll always be to me.
Fascinating, Marrelyn, and a huge thank you for sharing! No, they're not like the lobsters here as there are no huge claws! They do resemble the crayfish of the south US, but are SO MUCH bigger! By any name, I know it tastes wonderful! *Lucky You*, Indeed!
